PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TRITON Tape is indicated for the treatment and control of mixed infections of adult and immature stages of gastrointestinal roundworms including tepe worms and worms sensitive to avermectin/milbemycin, benzimidazole and levamisole/morantel anthelmintic families, and worms that have single or dual resistance to the avermectin/milbemycins (including moxidectin resistant strains), benzimidazole, or levamisole/morantel anthelmintic families. It is effective against lungworm, itchmite and nasal bot of sheep, and provides a source of selenium and cobalt for sheep in selenium or cobalt deficient areas.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
- Mathematical models demonstrate the value of TRITON Tape to significantly delay the development of resistance to all three drench families.
- TRITON Tape will not exert undue selection pressure for the development of resistance as it contains three short acting drenches which are absorbed rapidly, act quickly to kill parasites and then are eliminated quickly.
- TRITON Tape has the highest efficacy and greater effectiveness against more parasites, at more stages than is possible with any one drench or any two in combination.
- If resistance is a problem use TRITON Tape now to maintain productivity.
- Safeguard the future by using TRITON Tape to delay the development of resistance to all 3 drench action families.
- TRITON Tape removes the need for annual rotation between drench families.
- TRITON has the shortest meat withholding period of any triple combination, allowing greater flexibility with drafting schedules.
